# Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the Brock Responder application ("the App") operated by Brock Johnson.

## 1. About the App

The App is a private, single-user productivity tool used by Brock Johnson to manage replies to comments and direct messages on the Instagram account @brock11johnson. It is not offered as a service to the public.

The App connects to Instagram via Meta's Instagram Platform API and uses Anthropic's Claude AI to draft suggested reply text in Brock Johnson's voice. All replies sent through the App are approved by Brock Johnson before being posted.

## 2. Who these Terms apply to

These Terms primarily govern Brock Johnson's own use of the App. People who comment on or send direct messages to @brock11johnson are not parties to these Terms, but their interactions with that account may be processed by the App as described in the [Privacy Policy](/policy).

## 3. Acceptable use

Brock Johnson agrees to:

- Use the App in compliance with Meta's Platform Terms, Developer Policies, and Community Guidelines
- Not use the App to send spam, harassment, deceptive, or impersonating messages
- Not use the App to circumvent Instagram's rate limits or anti-abuse mechanisms
- Promptly remove the App's access if any of the above are violated

## 4. AI-generated content

Replies suggested by the App are generated by Anthropic's Claude AI based on context from a private brand-voice document. Brock Johnson reviews and approves each reply before it is sent. The App is not responsible for the content of any AI suggestion that is not approved. The content of approved replies is the sole responsibility of Brock Johnson.

## 5. Third-party services

The App relies on Meta (Instagram Platform), Anthropic (Claude AI), and Google (Sheets and Docs) to operate. The App is not liable for downtime, errors, or changes in those third-party services.

## 6. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The App may contain bugs, errors, or limitations.

## 7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brock Johnson's liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to zero dollars (USD $0). The App is a personal, non-commercial tool and is not provided as a paid service.

## 8. Termination

Brock Johnson may stop operating the App at any time, for any reason, by revoking its access to Instagram and deleting its local data.

## 9. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be posted at this URL.

## 10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
