# Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data that may have been collected by the Brock Responder application ("the App") in connection with @brock11johnson's Instagram account.
## What data the App stores
The App stores a record of comments and direct messages received by @brock11johnson, including:
- Your Instagram username and user ID
- The text and timestamp of comments or direct messages you sent to @brock11johnson
- AI-generated draft replies and the approved reply text that was sent in response

## How to request deletion
To request deletion of your data from the App's storage:
1. Send an email to **[email protected]** with the subject line: **"Data deletion request"**.
2. Include your Instagram handle in the body of the email so we can locate your records.
3. We will confirm the request and complete deletion within **30 days** of receipt.
What will be deleted:
- All rows in the App's data store that contain your username or user ID
- All draft and approved reply text associated with those rows
- Any references to your handle in any internal learning logs
What will NOT be deleted by this request:
- The original comments or direct messages themselves on Instagram (these are not stored by the App; they live on Meta's servers and can be deleted by you directly through Instagram)
- Posts or messages you sent to other accounts (only @brock11johnson's account data is processed by the App)
## Revoke App access
You can revoke the App's access to your data at any time, without contacting us, by following these steps in Instagram:
1. Open Instagram on your phone or web
2. Go to **Settings and privacy → Website permissions → Apps and websites**
3. Find **Brock Responder-IG** in the list of active connections
4. Tap **Remove**
After you remove the App's access, the App will no longer receive any new data from your account. Existing data is deleted on request per the instructions above.
